The "charcoal" series is a burnt finish that gives the entire piece a charcoal-like appearance. A special protective agent is applied on top to make the finish less likely to come off.
Decorative stitching is done on the crown and brim with waxed thread.
The decoration is made of leather and wrapped with leather cord.
