The "charcoal" series is burn-processed until the entire piece takes on a charcoal-like appearance. A special protective agent is applied over the top to make the finish more durable.
The decorations include wrapped leather, hide, and cotton cord.
Additionally, rusted metal accents are attached as highlights.
Decorative stitching with waxed thread is added in several places.
